Additional Resources

The Indigenous Health Network creates many resources that are of benefit to the broader community. The resources shared here include the IHN’s Terms of Reference, reports on IHN community engagement events, IHN open letters to the community, and IHN resources related to allyship. In addition, you can find below resources external to the IHN including the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action. We encourage everyone, but especially non-Indigenous people who want to be Allies to review and take to heart the lessons in these resources:

Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada resources:
  • Honouring the Truth, Reconciling for the Future
  • What We Have Learned
  • The Survivors Speak
  • Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada: Calls to Action
  • National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation Reports
  • Evidence Brief: Wise Practices for Indigenous-Specific Cultural Safety Training Programs
  • Indigenous Relationship and Cultural Awareness Courses
  • San’yas Anti-Racism Indigenous Cultural Safety Training Program
