Meet Our Co-Chairs
Jessica Durand
IHN Co-Chair
Jessica Durand is Oji-Cree, French and Scottish Heritage from the bear clan. Her spirit name is Kikinohamaagewikwe ᑭᑭᓄᐦᐊᒪᑫᐏᑵ which translated means woman who shares/teaches knowledge. Jessica believes that we all play a vital role and responsibility in this world, as she plays many, aside from being Co-Chair of the IHN, she is the Indigenous Mental Health and Wellness Coordinator/Manager at the Fort Erie Native Friendship Centre, a wife, mother of 3, an avid beader and a part-time student. These are just a few of the things you will see her doing. Overall health and well-being have been a passion and priority of hers for many years and she has expressed her gratitude to be able to serve our community.
